Refund Policy

A LEGAL DISCLAIMER

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

At Bucho’s Barkery, we strive to provide the highest quality dog treats and pet products. We understand that sometimes an order may need attention after purchase, and this policy explains your options regarding refunds, replacements, and returns.

 

1. General Policy

Due to the perishable and handmade nature of our products, all sales are final, except in the following situations:

  • Damaged, defective, or incorrect items received

  • Shipping errors caused by Bucho’s Barkery

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for:

  • Customer changes of mind

  • Allergies or sensitivities that the customer did not disclose or check before purchase

  • Perishable products that are mishandled after delivery

 

2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or not as ordered, please notify us within 2 days of delivery:

  • Email: info@buchosbarkery.com

  • Include your order number, photos of the product, and a brief description of the issue

Upon verification, we will:

  • Replace the item at no cost, or

  • Issue a refund for the affected item, at our discretion

We may request that damaged items be returned.

 

3. Shipping Delays & Lost Packages

  • Once an order is handed to the carrier, risk of loss transfers to the customer.

  • If a package is lost in transit, please contact us promptly.

  • Bucho’s Barkery may, at our discretion, issue a replacement or refund, depending on tracking confirmation and carrier policies.

 

4. Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled before shipping. Usually within two (2) hours after placing an order.

  • To request a cancellation, email info@buchosbarkery.com immediately after placing your order.

  • Once an order is shipped, cancellation requests cannot be honored.

 

5. Refund Process

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after verification.

  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.

  • If a payment provider or bank requires additional time, processing may take longer.

 

6. Exchanges

Due to the perishable nature of our products, exchanges are only available in limited cases:

  • Damaged or defective items verified by Bucho’s Barkery

  • Same product replacement only (no substitutions unless approved)

 

7. Customer Responsibilities

To help ensure smooth processing of refunds or replacements:

  • Inspect packages upon delivery

  • Keep packaging and product photos for claims

  • Notify us within 7 days of any issue

 

8. Legal Compliance

This policy is designed to comply with Washington State consumer protection laws (including RCW 19.86 – Washington Consumer Protection Act). Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable law.
